Rejuvenation and regeneration of the human spirit begins with the land.

Australian Indigenous culture recognizes the importance of the land, plants and animals in the creation of energetic environments conducive to the healing and nurturing of the human spirit.

As the land is healed through replanting and sustainable wild harvest of species native to the area, the local fauna will begin to return and this will eventually lead to environmental conditions where the healing and strengthening of the human spirit can begin.

“We must be clear in our understanding that from an Indigenous perspective the land must first be healed and harmonized....the spirit cannot fully heal in barren and energetically disturbed land”, said Dr Richard Walley, Executive Officer.

The vision of the Aborna Foundation is to work in partnership with the National Trust of Australia (WA) and with the community, relevant Government departments and commercial interests toward creating micro climates within selected properties, to create environments which are healing and both spiritually and commercially sustainable.

A primary objective will be the creation of a trusted and recognized methodology of how the Aborna Foundation operates with the community and commercial interests, leading to sustainable (environmental, social and economic) outcomes and respect for Aborna Foundation projects.
